The European Cancer Congress 2013 (ECC 2013) held in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, which included the 17th ECCO, the 38th ESMO and the 32nd ESTRO meetings, is the main multidisciplinary and multi-professional educational opportunity in oncology to take place in Europe ? a fact that underpins the relevance, role and participation of each and every speciality in oncology.
This year the combined congress continued positioning multidisciplinarity as the way forward to best improve the prevention, diagnosis, treatment and care of cancer patients. Each of the contributing partners recognizes the multidisciplinary setting of the the European Cancer Congress (ECC 2013) as an ideal surroundings for participants to leverage knowledge, promote education and build awareness about oncology and placing the patient at the heart of all our efforts and discussions.
