Wian Stipp

Wian Stipp is the Lead Machine Learning Research Engineer at Evidium, responsible for the company's healthcare AI products, including disease-trajectory forecasting and decision-support systems used by hospitals and insurers. He is a named inventor on multiple granted U.S. patents covering methods for translating medical knowledge into computational evidence and augmented intelligence for clinical decision-making. Previously, Stipp was a founding engineer at Lanterne AI, where he built a COVID-19 crowd-density prediction app covered by the BBC, the European Space Agency, and Business Insider. He holds a BSc in Mathematics and Economics from the London School of Economics.
