Vahé Nerguizian, Ph.D

Vahé Nerguizian holds a Ph.D. in Bio-microsystems Engineering from Concordia University. He is a Full Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering at École de technologie supérieure (ÉTS) and a pioneer in the implementation of active learning within the department. His educational research focuses on developing a multimodal mobile learning approach (enhanced flipped classroom), which integrates into teaching video capsules presenting authentic problems through case studies, as well as remote laboratory modules. He conducts applied research in bio-microsystems and nanotechnology. His major contribution is in evaluating the cancer metastatic pathway through synthetic extracellular vesicles (liposomes) and drug delivery using lipid nanoparticles.
