Seongwon Han, M.D.
Seongwon Han, M.D. leads the Medical & Lifecycle Safety Team at Samsung Bioepis, overseeing the Pharmacovigilance, Medical Affairs, Clinical Development, and Biometrics groups. He has 20 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry mainly in the areas of pharmacovigilance, clinical drug safety, and risk management throughout the product lifecycle. Prior to joining Samsung Bioepis, Seongwon worked at Pfizer, Bristol Myers Squibb, and Janssen Pharmaceuticals in both the UK and US, as well as an international assignment in China. He is a graduate of the University of Glasgow and the University of Newcastle and worked as an NHS hospital internal medicine specialist before joining the biopharmaceutical industry.
