Pablo C. Okhuysen, MD, is Professor of Medicine in the Department of Infectious Diseases, Infection Control and Employee Health at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, Dr. Okhuysen’s area of clinical and research interest is infectious diseases and diarrheal disease. His laboratory studies how intestinal mucosa interacts with enteric pathogens and the microbiome in the context of cancer and immunosuppressed patients.
