Fred R. Hirsch

Fred R. Hirsch, MD, Ph.D, has served as the CEO of the International Association for the Study of Lung Cancer since 2013 and has been a professor at the University of Colorado School of Medicine since 1999. He has worked with clinical/translational research in lung cancer for more than 25 years. His current interest is in biomarker developments for early detection, chemoprevention and treatment of lung cancer. He holds a degree from the Copenhagen Business School, as well as a medical degree and doctorate from the University of Copenhagen.
