Andrea Maddox-Smith

Andrea Maddox-Smith is Chief Executive Officer of the Bladder Cancer Advocacy Network. She has been a non-profit social impact leader for more than 28 years. Prior to joining BCAN, Andrea served in multiple senior leadership roles with the American Diabetes Association for 16 years, most recently as senior vice president, Eastern Division/Nationwide Mission Delivery. In this role she was responsible for managing a budget of US $ 46 million and all aspects of operations management, new business development, staff management and volunteer recruitment & cultivation. Andrea started her career at Junior Achievement of southeastern Michigan which she credits for the on the ground non-profit training she received in building brand awareness, optimizing on revenue diversification and in developing a winning sales strategy.
