Amy Valley, PharmD

Amy Valley, PharmD, Vice President of Clinical Strategy & Technology, Cardinal Health Specialty Solutions, is a Board Certified Oncology Pharmacist, is a published clinician, educator, and researcher with a concentration on oncology pharmacy practice. She has extensive experience in the development and implementation of value-based care initiatives aimed at improving patient outcomes while realizing cost savings for both the patient and health care system. Valley has been with Cardinal Health Specialty Solutions since 2010 and has played an integral role in setting the vision for and developing the portfolio of technology and clinical solutions for physician office practices. Prior to joining Cardinal Health, Valley’s career included positions as Director of Clinical Services for Pharmacy Systems, Inc. (PSI) and Vice President of Clinical Solutions for Pharmacy Healthcare Solutions (PHS), an AmerisourceBergen business. Valley’s 13 years in clinical practice included clinical practice and faculty positions at the University of Colorado and The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. During that time, she held many national leadership roles in oncology pharmacy practice. She is a graduate of The Ohio State University College of Pharmacy where she completed her B.S.in pharmacy degree. She completed her Pharm.D. and a specialty residency in oncology pharmacy practice at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio and the University of Texas at Austin.
